Ingredients:

  • Aradia Farm Fresh Ham*
  • Dry Rub
  • - Paprika
  • - Garlic Powder
  • - Sea Salt
  • - Fresh Ground Black Pepper

Directions:

  • If the skin is still on the ham, cut the skin off. Don’t throw away – it will be used!
  • Coat the ham in the dry rub. Place in the slow cooker and cover with the skin.
  • Add 1 cup of water.
  • Cook for 10 hrs (9 lb ham) on low. Smaller hams (or roasts) will take less time.
Notes: *Note: The ham comes from the hind leg of a pig. Fresh ham is a ham that has not been smoked and therefore has no added flavors. It is most comparable to a shoulder roast, but leaner. Recipe inspired by Hog Creek Farm
