About Us / Feederbrook Farm History: Feederbrook Farm is located in northern Baltimore County, Maryland and has been family owned and operated since 1971. We focus on producing high-quality hand dyed yarns and fibers from our sheep and from fibers produced by other farmers. We keep a number of breeds of sheep in the flock but are focusing on Teeswater, Blue-faced Leicester (BFL) and BFL Teeswater crosses (BLTees). Our products include locally milled hand-dyed yarns, spinning and felting fibers, finished goods and knitting patterns. We are venturing out into some new territory and offering jewelry, herbs, culinary blends and other healthcare products. These products can be found at events Feederbrook attends in the spring and fall, at the farm store located on the property and here online. We also offer educational opportunities such as individual and group classes and school trips. Educational classes range from spinning, dyeing and animal husbandry to cheese making, canning and raised bed gardening. We take pride in teaching and practicing sustainable farming.
